Birdgangs are a Boston based rock band, taking influence from bands like the Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and Real Estate. They bring a rare mix of passionate artistry, honest lyricism, and explosive stage presence to every show that raises audiences to their feet through pulse-pounding melodies, and fierce, unrelenting rhythms. Their debut EP, Maximum Suction, is out March 23, and they’ll be playing a release show at O’Brien’s Pub.

Morningbird is a five-piece alternative rock band hailing from various parts of the world that came together in Boston. John Cattini and Max Challis formally founded Morningbird in the summer of 2014 with a couple of bedroom recording sessions that became their debut self-titled EP. In 2016 John and Max recruited their long time friends Isak Kotecki, Connor Frawley, and Ian Ho to form a five piece band. In Tall Buildings is a one-man polymathic project of Chicago songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Erik Hall. Producer and engineer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine) joined him in the studio for his last album, Driver, back in 2015.
PopMatters said, “Driver is heavy on melodies and breezy in its effortlessness. It’s the kind of album that moves in different ways during different times and reveals aural layers on multiple listens.”
Based out of Boston, Photocomfort is the electro pop project of Justine Bowe. Her music takes influence from radio pop of the 90’s in Alanis Morissette and Dido as well as the more modern Radiohead and Solange. She has shared the stage with acts such as Whitney, Beruit, and Glass Animals. Her new EP, Understudy, is out later this year and features soaring vocal hooks over nimble electronic arrangements.

Gabby Michelle is a Boston-based singer-songwriter whose songs call out lies women are taught to believe about themselves, empower women, normalize treatment for mental illness, and speak truth, life, and love back into the world. Recognized for her unique voice, storytelling lyrics, and intimate sound, Gabby has played shows at the Red Room, Berklee College of Music, and various other venues in the Northeast. Her debut LP was released in November, 2017.
