Made in Korea Live from the Red Room

Made in Korea is an official showcase presented by Berklee KSCA. It is the first performance event by the KSCA since the merger of KSA and K-pop Club this semester.

Multiple Berklee bands will perform their takes on K-pop songs and will present Korean songs in their unique styles and with their own arrangements.

K-pop music exploded in the U.S. when Berklee alumnus Psy released his world-known song “Gangnam Style.” Both the song and music video reached millions, completely changing the game for K-pop, and spreading it throughout the world. From then on people in the U.S. (especially) started paying attention to K-pop music. Some of the most popular K-pop bands and artists are Psy, BoA, Rain, Big Bang, and Super Junior.
