Ciaran Lavery and Alex2e Live from The Red Room

Ciaran Lavery is a singer-songwriter from Aghagallon in County Antrim, Ireland. He is highly acclaimed for his poetic, heart-stopping lyrics. Lavery also won the Northern Ireland Music Prize for his album “Let Bad In”, which was released in 2016.

He recorded his new album, Sweet Decay. “I acknowledge the darkness inside of me, one that has the potential to let people down and make the wrong decisions,” he says. He released the first single “To Chicago” as a teaser to the album and Lavery keeps it close to his heart. “In its purest form, this is a romantic song. I wanted to write something unapologetically good, a message of love without conditions. I haven’t heard any recent songs about love that didn’t come without a trap door and I miss that the sentiment cannot exist just as it is.” With Sweet Decay, Lavery will head out on his biggest tour to date across Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, Ireland, and Canada.

Alex2e (Alex Touhey) is an alternative-acoustic singer-songwriter from Western Massachusettes. His career and love for songwriting began when he picked up his sister’s guitar after major surgery. He developed his skills and eventually got his debut EP Strange Company onto the top 10 albums iTunes singer/songwriter chart. He has worked with big artists like Zac Brown Band and is still on his way up the ladder of the music world.
