Upcoming on birnCORE: Viniloversus, Blue Hyenas & Javi Limón Jr.

Tune in to birnCORE on Friday, February 16 for an amazing live broadcast from the Red Room @ Cafe 939 featuring three great bands!

Viniloversus is a Latin Grammy–winning rock band based in Miami, Florida. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, the band recently released its first English album, Days of Exile, a follow-up to its first three albums, all critically acclaimed. The album is available on vinyl as well as all digital platforms.

Viniloversus is touring in the United States, where it recently participated in important music festivals and conferences such as III Points Music Festival in Miami and the Latin Alternative Music Conference in New York City.

The Blue Hyenas are a rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Starting in 2015 in the basement of a friend, Joe Sanchez (guitar), Simon Roobz (bass), and Patryk Kelley (drums) began playing covers out of a common love for hard rock and the blues. Soon after, the band found its powerhouse singer, Jorge Colon, through the magic of the internet.

After playing its first official gig on Cape Cod in August 2015, the band decided to write original music. After playing local shows in the Boston area for a year, the band released its first EP, Bad Habits, with its first album on the horizon.

Javi Limón Jr. is a multi-instrumentalist based in Boston who has studied with Nando Michelin and Pepe Rivero. Limón cowrote the score for the movie Oro, by Agustín Díaz Yanes, starring José Coronado and Bárbara Lennie. He also performed with singer Nella for the movie Todos Lo Saben by Asghar Farhadi, starring Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz.

The show starts at 8:00 PM EST. Tune in HERE<img
