The Dales is a five-piece American roots-rock band based in LA. In August of 2017 They released their debut album Marie, named after and inspired by the bass’ loss of his girlfriend to cancer. “The echoes of that tragedy ring through Marie and resonate in the bittersweet sentiment and alluring melodies that provide its wistful embrace.” It is very clear that the band is influenced by early country music and the classic songwriting style. The Dales have traveled and performed with other artists and bands such as White Buffalo and Cris Jacobs. They have been featured on a couple of NPR’s music specials as well as in interviews on NBC and ABC.
