Tipling Rock, Dylan Rockoff and Olivia for Now live from Cafe 939

Tune in to birnCORE on Tuesday, September 24 at 8:00 p.m. for a live broadcast from the Red Room @ Cafe 939 featuring three up-and-coming young artists as Tipling Rock, Dylan Rockoff and Olivia For Now perform live from the Red Room stage.

Tipling Rock, a beach pop band based in Boston, Massachusetts, is composed of Ben Andre (vocals/guitar), Dillon Salkovitz (bass), and Tommy Schubert (drums).

In 2015, the band released its first EP, Punch Lines & Good Times, and garnered more attention with the summer 2016 release of their single “Low Tide Love.” Since then, Tipling Rock has released another EP and a handful of singles that have been featured on several Spotify playlists, including Viral Hits, New Indie Mix, All-New Indie, and Feel-Good Indie Rock.

Dylan Rockoff, a pop and R&B artist based in Nashville, Tennessee, has opened for Bon Jovi at Madison Square Garden, and has played tour dates supporting Vinyl Theatre, 311, New Politics, Lewis Watson, and the Alternate Routes. Soon after the release of his debut single “Feeling Fine,” the song was featured on NBC’s Today and SiriusXM. His follow-up EP, These Old Streets, has totaled more than 4 million global streams.

Recently, Rockoff has strengthened his Tennessee ties, releasing “Competition” (cowritten with Nashville up-and-comer Ava Suppelsa) and celebrating with local performances.

Olivia for Now’s debut EP Elsewhere was released in May under Sugar Shack Studios, a collective of R&B, nu jazz, and hip-hop artists. The songs contained in Elsewhere are musical postcards, built from shapes and colors felt and unseen.
