The Last Bandoleros and Honeysuckle Live From The Red Room
March 24, 2018 @ 8:00 pm - 10:30 pm EDT

Tune in to birnCORE Saturday March 24th @ 8 PM EST for a live broadcast from The Red Room @ Cafe 939 featuring The Last Bandoleros and Honeysuckle.
The Last Bandoleros are a four-piece outfit that blends Tex-Mex, country, and rock ’n’ roll to create a new breed of Tex Mex. Their sound takes influence from each member’s upbringing combining early rock ‘n’ roll and the Beatles with Tex Mex, country blues, and brit-rock.
They write and perform driving songs brimming with melody from the unique blend of influences that only young Americans growing up a stone’s throw away from the Rio Grande might have absorbed.
The band has headlined a sold out show at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall and opened for Feist at Webster Hall. They’ve performed live with Sting and are featured as backing vocalists on his single “I Can’t Stop Thinking About You.”
Honeysuckle is a progressive folk act that blends older influences and traditional instrumentation with modern effects and inspiration. The Boston-based trio has played Newport Folk Festival and Lollapalooza, and was nominated for Boston Music Awards in the categories of Best Americana and Best Folk Artist.
