Vocalist and newest member of Broken Social Scene, La Force is Ariel Engle. Suiting in the genre of nocturnal electronic pop, topped with Engle’s enchanting vocals over dynamic production. Engle brings La Force’s singularity to the familial energy of Broken Social Scene.
La Force, born out of the culmination of Aroara – her previous music project practiced with husband and Broken Social Scene bandmate – is a deep reflection of motherhood and the magical dismantlement that comes with this re-discovery of self.
Engle’s first single You Amaze Me, layers seductive melodies over restrained electronics. Defining the tender but powerful essence of La Force, this single shows the reverent, and spiritual tone of Engle’s musical being.
