Payton Gin to Appear on BIRN Alive

Tune in to BIRN1 on Saturday, December 1 at 4:00 p.m. for a live performance and interview with the band Payton Gin.

Payton Gin is an alternative rock band based in Boston. The band was cultivated and brought together by Liv Field, bringing to life the originals she had been working on for the past year; ranging from dramatic tunes about anxiety and relationships, to dance tracks with up beat lyrics and melodies.

Field says her biggest influences are Wolf Alice, Mazzy Star, Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, and the Doors. Payton Gin is composed of the different sounds of  Mylan Vogels on lead guitar, Huxley Kuhlmann on keys, Cole Hancock on drums, Kaleb Harrison on bass, and Liv on vocals and rhythm guitar.

The group plans to release its first EP in the next couple of months, with many shows to be played throughout Boston. Payton Gin has already played venues with artists such as GODWIN, Roy Juno, Lilacs, o.rittenburg and more.
