Jewish-American violinist and musical prodigy Ilana Zaks has been described as “fearless, refreshing, and commanding with the requisites of technique, confidence and sensibility for a major career.” She has performed as a soloist with the Boston Civic Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra, New England Philharmonic, and many others. Ilana has earned many honors including top prizes at concerto competitions with the New England Philharmonic Orchestra and Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston and was a featured performer on the National Public Radio Program “From the Top” and Celebrity Series’ Concert for One. She is currently a Senior Undergrad student at New England Conservatory studying violin performance.
