Girls Like You plays In-Studio Show

A rising artist in the alt pop world, Emilia Ali is a Boston based singer-songwriter who captivates listeners with refreshing and powerful energy. An advocate for gender equality and sexual liberation, she says “Women especially deserve to say whatever they want and not be taken advantage of for it. You see it all the time. Just because we have these feelings doesn’t mean anything.” With over two million song streams on Spotify and impressive credits under her belt such as her Lollapalooza performance in 2018 and being featured on Dwilly’s single “ADD”, Emilia Ali’s musical career is taking off faster than ever.

plainfacedgirl is an upcoming artist writing music with a flavorful blend of alternative, hip-hop, and electronic pop influences ahead of its time. Her debut release doubledutch is a highly innovative collection of songs which strongly inspires female empowerment and confidence.

Maria Ellis is a 19 year old singer-songwriter from Long Island, New York and a student at Berklee College of Music. A natural performer, she has played at many venues since the age of 10, including New York’s The Bitter End and The Cutting Room. Although Ellis’s music is a blend of Pop and R&B, she takes inspiration from the music of  The Beatles, Nirvana, and John Mayer among others. She strives for raw honesty in her music, showcased through songs like “Give Me Love” and “When I’m Leaving You”.
