Emily Bear and Tyler & Ryan play Cafe 939
November 24 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST
Emily Bear hasn’t slowed down ever since she began writing music at the age of three, followed by her breathtaking piano performance on Ellen only 2 years later. Her prodigious talent and drive has lead to incredible opportunities, such as working with Quincy Jones on her jazz debut CD, and performing at exemplary stages such as Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Hollywood Bowl. A promising composer, Emily has scored the opening credits and end-title songs to Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, and was a featured pianist on A Dog’s Journey.
Emily has officially made her debut as a contemporary singer-songwriter with the release of her 2019 single “I’m Not Alone” in 2019, and will be releasing an EP titled Emotions soon. As for what the next chapter of her remarkable musical career holds, she has stated that “My goal is to bring all of these influences into a mainstream sound and change how we classify styles altogether. I like to think of it as ‘declassifying music’.”
Tyler & Ryan are bringing a special sound to the pop music industry. Originating from Bristol, Rhode Island, the multi-talented duo often performed at local open mics during the early stages of their career. In 2010, they created a YouTube channel and became well known for their catchy top 40 covers–eventually winning Ryan Seacrest’s cover contest with their unique spin on “All About that Bass”. With over 25 million views on YouTube and recently hitting 2 million Spotify plays, Tyler & Ryan have an exciting future coming up in the mainstream world.
The show starts at 8:00 p.m. EDT and you can stream it here.
