Elif Sanchez is a Turkish singer who blends her folkloric roots with jazz and Latin music. She is enchanted by traditional music from different parts of the world. That is why many influences can be heard in her music.
Sanchez graduated from Berklee and has distinguished herself internationally with her unique approach to traditional Turkish folk music.
She has performed with artists such as Antonio Serrano, Jacob Collier, Terence Blanchard, Tigran Hamasyan, Aynur Dogan, David Liebman, Dream Theater and Guinga, and has presented her music on world-renowned stages in the U.S., Turkey, Spain, Italy, Greece, Ecuador and Israel.
Sanchez is currently working on her upcoming album, which will be released in September.
