Berklee in the Round Live from the Red Room

Tune into birnCORE on Tuesday, October 9 at 7:00 p.m. for an intimate “in-the-round” style concert hosted by Berklee students live from the Red Room at Cafe 939.

Berklee in the Round (BITR) is a concert hosted by four to five students on the second Tuesday of every month. The students who host the event are chosen by a faculty member, and may also choose a special guest to perform as well. The concert is done in the style of a writers round, based on the in-the-round performances at the famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee. The performers will sit in a circle and take turns playing their music to the audience. This creates a really unique and intimate feel for both the performers and the audience.

Students interested in playing at this event can submit two mp3s and lyric sheets to the songwriting faculty member who will be hosting the night you want to play, or to songwriting@berklee.edu.
