Prateek Kuhad and Hannah Siglin Live from the Red Room

Tune in to birnCORE on Thursday, September 13 at 8:00 p.m. EDT for a live broadcast from the Red Room at Cafe 939 featuring Prateek Kuhad.

Prateek Kuhad is a singer coming from Jaipur, India. The release of his debut LP, In Tokens and Charms, an album which cemented his status as a breakout star not just in India, but around the world, has earned Kuhad an MTV Europe Music Award, Indie Album of the year. With Honors from iTunes, receiving Best Pop Artist at the Radio City Freedom Awards, and winning first place in the prestigious International songwriting competition, Kuhad is making a grand scene in the industry.

Kuhad’s music is all filtered through his unique global perspective and vivid cinematic lyrics. His voice can be described as utterly mesmerizing, floating over gently fingerpicked guitar sounds or ethereal synthesizers, to deeply tap into the wells of emotion.

Hannah Siglin is a singer-songwriter and guitarist from the Pacific Northwest. She began studying roots and folk music and performing at local festivals in Spokane, Washington, and is now an active performer in Boston, Massachusetts, where she studies at Berklee College of Music. Siglin hopes that her combination of classical training and deep love for folk music will help her create music that is multifaceted and technical, but still relatable and familiar.
