Bill Laurance (of Snarky Puppy) Live from the Red Room

Tune into birnCORE on Wednesday, September 26 at 7:00 & 9:00 p.m. for two show performances by pianist and composer Bill Laurance (of Snarky Puppy) live from the Red Room at Cafe 939.

Bill Laurance, a Grammy Award-winner and original member of the internationally acclaimed band Snarky Puppy, has worked as a professional musician since he was 14 years old. Laurance has toured internationally as a pianist, keyboard player, composer, producer, and arranger with artists such as David Crosby, Bobby McFerrin, Morcheeba, Susana Baca, and many more.

Working extensively in the dance world with companies including Alvin Ailey, Ballet Rambert, Matthew Bourne’s Adventures in Motion Pictures and many more, Laurance is not only involved with many different artists and companies, but also runs his own music production company as well. Laurance’s Twenty Thousand specializes in music for film, TV and commercials, including client Apple Mac.

After going straight to No. 1 on the iTunes Jazz Charts, Laurance received international critical acclaim. He released his debut album Flint in 2014, with his second album, Swift, released in 2015 on GroundUP music.
