Eyes to Earth

We are Eyes To Earth! We met during the fall of 2008 in Boston, at Berklee College of Music. We believe in the endless power of love and that's why we want to spread a new message, a new genre of music: LULLABY ROCK. This band is here to help you to deal with the fears that come with life, because everybody is scared, and to heal you. We wish you magic and miracles of the very highest kind.

Neara Russell

A piano rocker with classical, jazz, and electronic influences, Neara Russell uses voice, piano, synthesizers, and random household items to craft sonic inventions that are envisioned and orchestrated entirely in her own creative world.

A dual major in composition and piano/voice performance at Berklee, Neara has composed pieces for the Boston String Quartet, Madison Youth Choirs, and Berklee Contemporary Chamber Music Ensemble; performed in clubs, coffeehouses, student showcases, Berklee Performance Center (including the New Music Festival), corporate events, television shows, and a sound sculpture; and is currently celebrating the release of her original rock EP, "Information Fiction."

Mixing a blend of intricate compositions, catchy songs and fun stage antics, all with an exploratory attitude towards group improvisation, an evening with Mondo Gecko is always an adventure. The groups funk rock sound infuses elements of electronica, space grass, reggae, country, and jazz fusion.

Since their inception, the group has been hard at work writing, recording, and performing around the Boston area, establishing a strong local base through performances in bars, clubs, colleges, and parties. The groups first tour will kick off in Spring 2009, and their debut album is due out this summer.

Adrien and the Fine Print

Posted on 03/05/2009 by Lolo

Adrien and the Fine Print are a five piece band out of the Back Bay area of Boston, assembled through happenstance and circumstance at the music college all the members attend. With a rich sound and a sharp, intelligent focus on the craft of songwriting, Adrien and the Fine Print have cut their teeth in charismatic performances all over the greater Boston area. A recent review of a show at Wellesley College thanked the band for “bringing good music out to Wellesley.”

With a girl from the north country (Elisabeth), a boy from the Peach Tree state (Mitch), a young lady from the Mid-Atlantic states (Renee), and two sons of the South (Adrien and Joey), Adrien and the Fine Print derive their sound from every fold of the American tapestry. They are a contemporary sound rooted in tradition - from Laurel Canyon to Sun, New York to Nashville. If you get a chance, go check them out. The songs are decent and the band ain't too bad to look at.
